just realised that the last few entries are steeped in verbiage, of which i'm equally guilty. come on people, let's start introducing more images to our posts!

i scanned this picture from a book sometime last year (forgot to note the credits, my bad) because i found it strangely very moving. it made me think about the destruction that occurs when we are at war with the world, the decay that everything we build will eventually face -- through war or wear, the opportunity for renewal/ regeneration that departs from this. and much much much more... all in all, it made me realise how i'm actually very happy that nothing lives forever.

creative destruction? most definitely.
