yaoks left for melbourne yesterday. had a long 'short talk' with his folks at the airport. i suspect i inspire calm and assurance in parents.

it seems all except my own anyway, though i think that's only because they're a tough bunch to satisfy; they don't trust people very much.

also, i just found out that magda actually attempted to post images of a little celebration the studio threw for Lichuan.

will get magda to post the thumbnails up for archival, but for now go to flickr for them.

i forgot to mention earlier that i really enjoy the images and what little chinese i can understand from darren tee's blog. hong kit's is really nice too. what irks me is that we have so many more people on our list of writers yet we're only capable of fewer images of the happenings in our day-to-day, much less the things going on in school.

shame on us.

both the dudes politely relinked back to us (you didn't have to, but tks a lot!), with darren using what i fear is a growing misnomer of a hyperlink ("aki") to the nature of our blog. or maybe he meant to put it out of scale.
