as most of you would have known by now, my very close friend from JC (with whom i made a pact to survive melbourne together) has passed. i found her dead body in her house tuesday morning when i broke into her house after her not answering any of our calls for the past two days.

as the door swept open, with part of the door frame still attached to it, i saw her lying there beside her table, on which laid her precious iBook, her Creative Writing coursepack (a course she isn't even eligible for), and a note with names of artistes on it. her black ashtray sat empty beside her, four fag butts strewn in a constellation-like layer of ash.

her eyes were open, but she laid there without pulse or breath. cold and hard with rigor mortis.

her body will be back sometime next week, hope anyone who remembers or knows her will attend her wake. (more news of it later.)
