dee has a temp job!

much happening here suddenly! what a thrill! i'm watching CSI so just a quick update from me for now.

some of you have already been informed of my temporary erm... employment. yeah, well, nothing glamorous, but i will be getting some pay for research work with Mrs Chan back in school. roughly, i'm going to help her find research material for a paper (to be presented at a seminar jointly held by URA and DOA), and to work out a presentation for another paper she's written. more details on what's expected of me, and how much cold hard ca$h is involved tomorrow when i finally meet her in school. wooo.... the prospects of earning for research work!

many thanks to the few people who seem to always look forward to my "cheem" posts. i'd try my best to keep you all constantly entertained. as long as i remain gainlessly unemployed and absolutely too lazy to do anything serious (like join a competition, learn how to drive, play an instrument, stalk cute boys, do a nice layout for this blog) i'd continue to introduce everyone to the many brilliant articles on the web.

meanwhile, my RMIT application is not going as well as i had hoped. apparently RMIT's not sending me any letter -- even to chase me for my portfolio -- should have been portent of some administrative mess-up. tsk. so it seems my application might not have reached RMIT at all.

bummer...

will be looking forward to RIBA's visit to the school. i'd be around to help foong mess his studio up -- there's nothing more fun than meaningless chaos. not to mention, seeing as how our only scantily-clad changi-tran-sex-worker-lookalike is no longer around to scintillate our anglo visitors, i do wonder if i should take it upon myself to doll up in a fuchsia mini-skirt/ hot-pants and steel heels for effect. slutting it up, i guess, could be my selfless magnanimous sacrifice to this school's all-important accreditation.

don't say i never offer my help...
