omg!
archinect is looking for new aki school bloggers for its pretty interesting School Blog Project (duh). when i checked a year ago, it was torrance (of rojak/ post.fm fame) who represented NUS.
but...
OMG!!
did anyone know that Hann's the current spokesperson for nus? well, along with some Adib fella, but he hasn't put up much.
...
..
.
eh, someone else go and sign up leh. oahiz, wuks, sio, or even hongkit, darren tee, wang ying.
meanwhile, i'm trying to convince MentalMickeyMovement (aka Cheok)--in exchange for leads for his dissertation--because i think he'd provide an alternative but successful model of an nus aki student.

Hey guys!
Chanced upon your blog some weeks ago, via Hon Kit's. I find myself enlightened/entertained/enamoured by deyi's/zihao's/both's (yes, in that order) exhortations. (And a little bemused by the title - what does "outofscale" refer to?)
Nonetheless, very interesting stuff (from the recent entries which are loaded on the main page which I happened to read).
Anyways, to D's most recent post, "touche'!", if I may dramatise things a little bit. :P
Well, to call my postings on archinect a blog, or being representative of the school, would be giving it quite a misnomer, for one or two of the following reasons:
1. the blog was set up so my friends from TU Delft could check up on what happens in NUS, specifically, with my projects. One of them recommended archinect as a good place to post. and so i did. so it's kinda like an online "portfolio" of sorts, which totally defeats the purpose of a "school blog". Hence... (see last part of pt. 2 below)
2. I've unwittingly, and in some cases, involuntarily become a "spokesperson" for NUS Archi in other ways, but definitely not this! No one person can document the whole gamut of happenings (and especially non-happenings) in any school, much less myself. Which is why, upon realisation of Archinect's actual objectives for the school blog, I've stopped blogging on archinect. :P
Perhaps one of you should set up a blog there and link it directly to "outofscale". Would be a good perspective from NUS students who've moved away/out/on/down under/(insert other relevant preposition). I guess once you've taken a step back and looked at it, you'd tend to become much better spokespersons, so to speak.
Cheers!
Hann
Footnote. Torrance, by the way, is a pretty interesting guy, who helms the Rojak sessions from time to time.
wow i can be spokesperson too!
oh gosh oh gosh i ALWAYS wanted to be a spokesperson! where do i sign?
lol...
of coz u can choose mark lee or gurmit singh to be spokesperson for spore. i am happy with both!
OMG!!!
alohaan!
appreciate the clarifications on your 'blog' and 'unwitting' role in nus, just not entirely sure why it was made. zihao posits it's to do with something being "very hard" when you discovered a "position" you're in.
which to me is just zihao's way of talking dirrty to me. (yummy!)

this is so poliitical
and that was so deep.
Wahseh, Hann, spoken like a true gentleman! ;)
We really could do with more level-headed diplomatic ppl around.
hmm, i guess the motive behind having this blog is for a blunt and open sharing session and thats y deyi always advocates "non-anonymity".
i believe in the dynamics of confrontation and respecting each other's heartfelt views and opinions rather then niceties.
we create this blog for such interaction, a getaway from the hypocrisy of day to day small talk, and not to translate aforementioned "diplomacy" into seemingly petty disputes.
thenceforth there is no such thing as "more political" or "less gentlemanly". both deyi and hann made equally valid and intelligent points but we would appreciate less finger pointing behind a veil of anonymity. lets move on...
ok, i crafted a lyrical comment with expressions like "sagged titties" and "pimpled cockheads", but decided oahiz's right.
moving on.
(and *this* is because i prefer the comment count be an even number.)
Whoa. this is getting out of hand!
To anonymous: if you do mean I'm "diplomatic" and "level-headed", err.. thanks? (Reveal your true identity to me, and I'll sign you a cheque! haha.)
cheers, and to everyone else, sorry to end this off on an odd number!
*grumble*
move on can, hann?
yeow siew...
