okay, obviously i'm not the funniest of online-writers. but it's okay, because my beauty more than makes up for the lack of wit. -nods- hahaha... might i add that shamelessness is now to be considered a virtue (but only for me!) for the duration of whenever this post is read/ referred to :)
not much to say right now, for i've got to draft an email to the other peeps who are supposed to jump onto the bandwagon. i'd like to do a quick shoutout to wuks, who's the first person (other than myself) to jump on the bandwagon in less than half an hour of the blog's conception! yay to the revolving planet/ differential timezone that allows him to be checking his email at such a odd hour!

talked to dee the other day. and various other pple regarding this blog. apparently there was this implicit self censorship of our ownselves. apparently we have been misunderstood to be exclusive or we need to be able to "write" to contribute. apparently others just wanted to "read". apparently there are "rules" which wat we can write or not write like other group blogs. since when such rules were written!
i have taken a step to invite some other dudes in our circles to join into this venture for sharing knowledge, trashing out stuff, learning to speak architecture, or for that matter, learning to speak and interact. from these invites i hope something sprouts slowly again. those who haven reregister with google or something and cannot find a way to reenter this blog pls drop me an email so i can reinvite u guys again ok?
i believe in the politics of confrontation, where pple quarrel, clash opinions, and learn to reconcile truths spoken without the veil of niceties.
especially now it wld be a good time to reacquaint ourselves with literary architecture with dissertation and thesis, indeed it is an exciting time to share and explore possibilities which would be otherwise limited by NUS-inculcated inferior complex.
no idea is stupid here in OUT OF SCALE...

hi everybardy!
shups' here... thanks to oahiz_wanders. Been drifted away to the W land for the past 10 months where its 'exotic more or less', haha. Will share more of my experiences there soon, meanwhile, do check out the newly refurbished National Museum (both the architecture and the exhibits I would say). No, I wasnt paid to advertise on this blog, actually in fact, what's more interesting is how the permenant galleries' exhibitions have been done up (note: not by yours truly's firm). Trust me, museum exhibition design can be such a painful process...
Imagine a team of curators among whom you have a Peranakan, a Eurasian, an ex-US army militant, a former policewoman (...) trying to work with an architect who loves Paul Smith and seeks to reconcile his Chinese identity in his works; with a bunch of ah-beng-chic graphic designers from PhunkStudio...
...PERANAKAN MUSEUM in the making...
