actually theres also a similar development in lavender, but that one is one whole row of conserved terrace houses stuck onto a slab block with the multistorey carpark behind the terraced houses

I walked past one in cairnhill the other day too.. there are at least 3 or 4 other projects of the same nature across the island now huh.

hmm its from the straights times (lol) apparently URA is proud of such conservation efforts.
shdnt put a point block behind mah.
at the very least make a 6 storey monolithic block with corinthian columns similar to the language of the terrace bungalow in front. think buddha relic monastery or raffles town club. that wld be wonderful!
in fact, i think there is a better conservation project done by CSY at the Clarke Quay area...Unfortunately i was not able to upload the pic in the blog...duno y....
